Privacy Policy

Last updated

This policy explains how DevSparks, the web development branch of Origene Ventures Pte Ltd (“we”), collects, uses and protects personal data when you use devsparks.io. We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What we collect

  • Consultation form: your name, email, and optionally your phone or WhatsApp number, company and role, plus what you tell us about your project, budget, timeline and how to reach you.
  • Trinity chat assistant: the messages you type. If you share contact details in the chat, we keep them together with a copy of the conversation up to that point. If you never share contact details, we do not keep the conversation.
  • Website analytics: how the site is used, such as pages viewed, clicks, device and browser type, approximate location and technical errors.
  • Security data: your IP address and browser signals, used to block spam and automated abuse.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and follow up about it, including arranging a consultation and preparing a quote.
  • To understand and improve the website.
  • To keep the site, the form and the chat secure.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not send you marketing messages unless you separately ask for them, and we do not use your phone number for marketing calls, SMS or WhatsApp messages.

Consent

By submitting the form, or by sharing your contact details in the chat after seeing the notice under the chat box, you agree to us using them for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing sales@devsparks.io. We will stop using your data for those purposes, although we may then be unable to continue helping with your enquiry.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the website and handle enquiries. They process data only on our behalf:

  • Vercel hosts the website and provides bot protection.
  • Anthropic provides the AI model behind the Trinity chat and processes chat messages to generate replies.
  • Resend delivers enquiry emails to our team.
  • Airtable stores enquiries and chat leads so our team can follow up.
  • Telegram sends our team instant alerts about new enquiries.
  • PostHog provides website analytics.

We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it.

Transfers outside Singapore

Some of these providers store or process data outside Singapore, for example in the United States or Europe. Where this happens, we take steps to make sure your data receives protection comparable to the PDPA.

Cookies and browser storage

Our analytics uses cookies and similar browser storage to count visits and understand how the site is used. We also store your light or dark theme choice in your browser. The Trinity chat is held only in the open page and is cleared when you close or reload it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and chat leads for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we start working together, in which case we keep project records for as long as needed for the project and our legal and accounting obligations. We then delete or anonymise the data.

How we protect it

We limit access to the people who handle enquiries, use providers with strong security practices, encrypt data in transit and protect our accounts with access controls.

Access and correction

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, how it has been used in the past year, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email sales@devsparks.io and we will reply within 30 days.

Contact and Data Protection Officer

For any question or complaint about this policy or your personal data, contact our Data Protection Officer at sales@devsparks.io. You can also use the contact page.
